Receding Shadows

Night inks space in ebon shades, as the sun sets, at Day's end. And unveils a starry sky, awaiting Dawn's early glow. At the fringes of darkness, indigo morphs into black. And receding shadows merge; morphing into silhouettes. Tethered to Night, ebony saturates infinity. And an entire cosmos is encased within its embrace. The universe hides black holes in places, devoid of light. And spiraling into them, nothing can escape their grip.
