Rebutting Illness

sliced lemons
slide into thermal cup,
fresh mint leaves
and a honey drip.
boiling water splashes —
filling the vacuous space.
i sip repeatedly,
over chapped lips.

Kim, mom used to use the same ingredients but added kerosene to the mixture. Good write.

Oh i can relate Kim as I'm taking a very similar brew - ginger instead of mint but my cold has not turned into a chest infection which is a blessing:-) get well soon:-) hugs jan xx
