Rebuked

Don't try to trick me Satan!
You have no hold on me.
Your sting was fully conquered
that day on Calvary.

You are no longer welcome.
My days of sin are gone.
My heart is now the temple
that holds my Savior’s throne.

Your adversary reigneth
and Jesus is His name.
We meet together often
to catch you at your game.

I go now to His temple,
my sanctuary home.
To offer Him my praises
Now go! Leave me alone!

Pack up you fiery arrows.
Go find another place.
It's time for me to join Him
and bathe in saving grace.

Your tactics He has shown me
So leave without delay!
If walking near His temple
His blood I’ll throw your way!
