REBUILD

Rebuild....rebuild....
How many years have we heard rebuild?
How many lives lost to rebuild other countries?
May I ask what gives us the right to police the world and rebuild other countries?
Ok, what if another country wants to rebuild the United Sates?
One may say, there is no reason to do that
Oh, let me tell you, I know all about the corruption here
I have lived it, investigated it, deeper than imagined
I love my country, but are we perfect, almighty?
                       - no we are not -
Now this time is different, like no other war
Except once again, on the pretense to rebuild!
