Rebellious nonestablishmentarian Pennsylvania Yankee
where abhorrence towards
encroachment on erosion of
basic inalienable rights
doth not abate
and clampdown on exercising freedom of speech
squelched courtesy jackbooted thugs
who violently interrogate
supposed miscreants who berate
whereat within cradle of democracy
where forefathers/mothers didst create
the figurative spadework to cultivate
the safe haven
where citizen bankers can debate
videlicet parry and thrust against
those who eviscerate
life, liberty and pursuit of happiness
where the commander in chief doth fulminate
against hard fought democracy
once honored now squelched
expressions banned protesting
disallowing exhibiting any
lauding freedom banned
once cherished fête of course in my dreams
where Tony the Tiger
ranks as one hip cat gr-r-eat
showcasing adroitness
with ability to turn a phrase
evident if we could arrange a tête-à-tête
where immortality doth wait.

alarming usurpation of power - Republicans
each and every one a nasty and brutish knave
intent to pronounce decree sentencing

trumpeting, signaling and attesting slave

forced to pledge flag of servitude
amidst wreckage broken souls
washed away courtesy totalitarian wave.
