Rebel Girl

She doesn't believe in quiet love
wasn't born to bleed shyly,
couldn't care about the cost of conquest,

Too beautiful to be bitter, and too young to be cynical,
a cerebral seducer, a critical killer of caution,
too clever to be a casualty of competition,
the antithesis of a quiter
a warrior woman first,
the woman for whom I thirst,

When the battles are long
with the night swallowing safety
and your armor heavy
come to me with body ready,
be naked in my handsome hands
which grip your fatigued feet as if they are my clay of choosing,
sit into me in a bath of luxurious warmth, chamomile lavender calm,
Rebel Girl, happy and hugged with your back against my caring chest,
trusting my rubbing, loving my touching,
your lips moving in silent approval,

The war will return for us
testing our bruised wings of heart,
but tonight we defend this castle of loyal love
sheltered from storm and suffering -

To soothe the storm of her impulses, caressing the beauty of her fatigued body, accepting the anguish of her struggles, infusing every part of her with strong love...this is what I dream tonight...candles are special to me, as I write tonight I have several lit, glowing in sensuous wave like my Rebel Girl's soul. Thank you Jade...J.A.B.

Hi Justin! You never fail to express yourself clearly, strongly yet passionately. She might be a rebel girl, but you too have your own type of rebellious nature, though here the stress is mostly on her. It is in consensual and satisfactory love-making that mutual 'approval' is found. Another excellent piece of work. // paul

To believe is to fly, and one can fly high when it comes to love. Justin, much is enjoyed here. She kind of sounds like a hero. Facing the world alone. One can hardly bare this much armor. Everything cascades around this rebel girl. I just hope she does not give up. For, all who knock her down, will never know what hit them at the end. I hope you find the satisfaction, when hungry once again... Enjoyed ~Linda~

Continued...She will not give up because she lives to demonstrate her prowess and Faith, that's why I love her the way I do. I know the weight of armor well, and the vitality of loyalty and love. I'm pleased that you connected to the experience of this Rebel Duo Linda...J.A.B.

To fight a cruel world alone is the most demanding test of Faith and heart, I know this terrible yet rewarding truth very well Linda. Through the grace of Providence and belief in the virtue of my heart and soul I have survived with dignity. In the process I have the blessing to inspire others as well, thank Deity. This Rebel Girl has found comfort and courage in her Rebel Companion. My mission to heal and love is everlasting, in this life and the next my Sphinx. J.A.B.

It takes both to defend a love that others would gladly tear down. One cannot fight alone and conquer.... This poem is filled with a powerful passion for your rebel girl. Beautifully expressed, Justin!

Having my poetry evoke such powerful memories of the woman that you'd fight and sacrafice for is a true prize to me Richard! To have a companion that reciprocates devotion and inspiration of heart is a marvelous gift. To see past the battle. Everyday is a lifetime Richard. I'm grateful I could share this Art with a fighter like you. J.A.B.

Indecision and passivity are not traits that dull her weapons and beauty. However, as with all warriors, she feels the sting of conflict, internal and external severely, its the one of the major costs of being a champion. You understand this well Laura. Also, as with all successful leaders, she and I are lovable indeed, but awful as well. J.A.B.
