Reasonable Doubts
As I sit here and decide if I want to do this.
Do I want to hug you or smack you with a kiss.
I see you doing whatever you please.
It hurt me to see some of you not on your knees.
You boast and you brag and you do what you do.
I tried to warn those and the ones who knew.
It's hard for me to sit and look at how you are acting.
No praying, no reading and not even fasting.
The ones I see that will survive after this.
The ones who didn't think twice and the ones who missed.
The warnings and the signs to come.
I was sick to my stomach, not just where you were from.
Get it together I thought you would.
Have turn your back to what I taught you was good.
I'm not saying to those who know me.
But for the ones I had to really bring them to their knees.
I had to send her, I had her waiting for so long.
Three and four years had already gone.
She was patient and waited til I gave the word.
Then I let her loose and wasn't scared, but had nerve.
To come and clean up the mess and make it right.
Not to fuss or even fight.
Her duty was swift and oh so tremendous.
She moved fast and didn't waist a minute.
It was quick and was fast.
I say to you Long it was not going to last.
To bring you to attention and to show you what I can do.
Father time can't even fill my shoes.
I am the author you know.
Now pay attention next time and I bet you want move slow!
I will supply your need once again.
I've never let you go I'm still your friend.
