Reason To Love Me
To know me
is to know I have an open heart
and an open mind
I see people as equals
giving all a chance
make my own opinions
forming relationships with some
along the way
The ones who understand me
will stay, while others may move on
To understand me
is to understand my tolerance
and accept my choices
to live and let live
Empathy and integrity
my companions
along this journey
of my life
To know and understand
this unchangeable and enduring part of me
is to love me
