Reason I Write
I chose to write poetry to express how I feel
I had a lot of pain I needed to heal
I wrote instead of talking about how I felt
As I didn't know how to deal with the trauma I'd been dealt
People say I have a talent that I have hidden
But I thort its silly who am I kidding
I write because its now a passion of mine
My poems I write come straight from the heart
Each and every line
Some people think poetry is daft
I remembered telling people and they just looked and laughed
But I did not care at all
Because writing poetry helps me stand and not fall
