Reason

REASON “…For what is seen is temporary, but what I see is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 - - Oh, Reason, You wise charioteer of Our senses, Firmly into your Hands hold my Perception’s bridle And guide my galloping Insight Onto the veiled Path of reality that, Among myriad trails of Phenomena unfolds Undetected by my corporeal Eyes. I beg you, oh reason, to Steer my understanding Towards the ethereal heavens So My mind would be able to Get a glimpse of the ETERNAL! © Demetrios Trifiatis 31 January 2013

Very interesting and deep! :) But...sometimes reason comes up empty handed. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned says the Word. For that we need the spirit of God!.....I'm just being silly in my little world of philosophy, Demetiros! :) You are very wise indeed!

Dear Eileen, God gave us this tool, reason, to use for to discern between phenomena and noumena (object of a non-sensible intuition, Kant). Reason, here, is the starting point of inquiry. Later on though, as you see,I plead reason to guide My insight through the unseen path for to see the Eternal. We should not confuse Philosophy and Religion for, as you know, the one is Deductive and the other Inductive. Thank you for your Comments!

...Synonymous with wisdom. True, whatever we do is guided by our reason, how it percieves. But reason has its mighty counterpart - instinct.
