Reapply That Smile

This feelings been fleeting,
Sets my heart quickly beating,
All my doubts are retreating,
Life seems to be completing,

I’ve found my passion in you
Us, one and one equals two
You take away all my blue
I know my feelings are true

Our love cannot be defeated
This love cannot be repeated
All of the doubters be seated
This love will not be depleted

I cannot explain how I feel
I pinch myself, “is this real?”
These feelings I can’t conceal
It all just seems so surreal

Its growing within my mind
It has been so hard to find
Its like I’ve always been blind
But now my visions aligned

When I look into your eyes
My insecurity dies
You make all of my lows highs
And see right through my disguise

We will always be together
Through any type of weather
My heart as light as a feather
A balloon without a tether

Can’t wait for our life to begin
I have a permanent grin
Tell me of places you’ve been
Show me the person within

You’re like a star in the sky
That twinkle there in your eye
My world rains when you cry
But that smile I’ll reapply

Were you sent from up above
To show me what is real love
Beauty fits you like a glove
Needed a leap you’re the shove
