Really Good Soup

Looking at my bowl of soup
Wondering if I can eat it all
I just sat down to eat it up
When I received this phone call

They said my soup had been recalled
And I should not eat any of it at all
They said that if I should eat it all gone
Then to the floor I would surely fall

It seems that the corn had fermented
And then to alcohol it did turn
They said if I ate the soup now
My stomach would feel a deep burn

I ate all the soup that I had
Then went to the neighbors for more
After eating all the soup from there
I could not even find the door

In the morn I called the soup company up
To tell them I would dispose of the bad
They even paid me some money
For the best soup I ever had
