Realization
Realization
I feel the spirits in the wind today,
Rustling in the leaves
Whispers and echoes
Of days gone bye
Saying things I cannot hear
Or will not hear just yet
Whispering a warning
Hopefully a blessing
Agitated they do seem
But calm them I can
So I stand under a massive oak tree
And raise my hands high
Come to me to me restless ones
Tell me of your woes
Fill my heart and soul
With stories not yet known.
They reply with a gusty breeze
And howling of leaves
I drop to me knees
Pleading still, wondering.
Not now my child
They quietly respond
You are not ready yet
For the wisdom we share
I start to shake in mild despair
Wanting to help no realizing
It is I who needs the help
I feel the spirits in the wind today.
