Reality Is the Dream and the Dream Is Reality

It seems Reality is the dream And the dream is reality Words cannot wash it clean A simple dream Please send it away How it ruined a whole day Is far beyond my concise knowledge I wake shivering in a cold sweat Heart pounding Mind racing I know it’s just a dream I try and tell that to myself But I feel the lines between the fake and the real blur These nightmares are so daunting Always haunting me Casting sleep out of my mind when I need it the most My dreams seem so real Maybe that’s because they hold too much truth Things that are supposed to be left in the past Surface Find a home in my memory Taking place of all thoughts I’ve tried to hide from the dream But it seems Reality is the dream And the dream is reality Theres no escape from my mind I am a prisoner for all of time I am told many ways to rid myself of these terrors Ive gone through all methods Yet my subconscious seeks the truth And it wants me to know it Can history repeat itself Is what my mind tells me.. Is it true My worst fears come to light it seems Reality is the dream And the dream is reality
