Reality
I am spinning and turning
round, round, round,
my spirits, my hopes are,
down, down, down
ever since this weight
settled upon my chest,
the users are great
to take a permanent rest
I’ll try to be up
for the sake of family
and friends,
lord only knows
If that will help in
the end;
I am spinning I am turning
round, round, round,
my mask is fading am
down, down, down,
many would say,
about all of this;
think really hard
for you will be missed,
my hand reaching out
for another to grab,
I need a hand up
not someone to be sad;
I am spinning and turning,
round, round, round
it’s foolish, it’s stupid to be
down, down, down
slowly but surly
am being helped up,
we all feel this way at times
it does not mean your nuts.
