Realities As Poetry Gems
Lingering scenes hide in my subconscious
Vie for favor vicariously precious…
Soul that struggles against human nature
Contends to glow toward spotlight feature…
Hypocrisy keeps lurking amidst pride
Brags along false humility’s long stride…
Grievous regrets expose frustration pain
Leave heart in agony against joy-reign...
Repentance* that I neglect to express well
Faith's spirit basks in God’s miracle-swell.
*Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
