So then did I follow the ways of my youth down all the days of tomorrow Only to find I had left some behind written in sad lays of sorrow Turning and burning in embers of fires long since doused Traces of faces forgetting laughing unheard from a time that we cared Wrinkled old cheeks so past wetting reasons and seasons regretting Oh for an hour neath that old water tower Fumbling and feeling the moon Tasting and wasting the nights and the flights of fanciful dreaming in tune Sitting back resting in this garden's charms Looking at eden so long Feeling the realness of you in my arms I thankfully know I belong
