Real Talk

I...
Love you I do, more than my poetic
verses could ever explain; but ever
time the sun begins to shine thru,
some type of way here comes the
rain.
The good and bad, I know you
remain the same; so determined to
restore what we had, I took off the
disguise and stopped the game.
Even though emotions shouldn't be
the base of decisions, I thank you
for this heart of mine; promise no
more hectic incisions, I want it ALL
this time.
No lies and ceased being fake, feel
the fire burn inside like a stomach
to crunches; already realized there's
much at stake, no matter what I'm
rolling with the punches!
