Real Life Between Acts
Loins were afire,
they smouldered,
and searched,
for some parched humidity,
thirst was smothered,
in the well,
and loins were recoiled,
soon enough fire was up again,
doused soon enough,
but rose again,
doused,
rose,
doused,
rose,
doused,
rose,
no one knows,
how many times,
till it was finally done,
loin was still there,
shaking with the pelvic bone,
but it was waiting for its grave,
to be finally gone,
Is this life's only act,
think simply,
real life is led,
between any of such two acts.
