Real Horror
Real horror is not a movie on the big screen or T.V.
Real horror is:
a newborn baby addicted on heroine
a homeless man sleeping under newspaper
children with no fathers
a fetus washed down a drain
a woman raped and beaten
Real horror is:
children with scars
an elderly woman eating from a dumpster
young girls sold into sexual slavery
hating because I'm white
hating because you're black
Real horror is:
war and religious conquest
killing because I'm a Christian
you are a Muslim
I'm a Jew
Real horror is:
garbage in our oceans
when a hungry child cries itself to sleep
while we throw food away
wife turns her back on husband
a stage four cancer diagnosis
a drunk driver claiming a family
a single mother working three jobs
Real horror is:
forgetting God and his Golden Rule
and putting zero value on our fellow human beings
forgetting we are unique
and each have a special voice to be heard
different opinions have no value
no one is listening
people can't see what we are doing to each other
and some who can see don't care
The biggest horror will be if we do nothing to change
