Real Friends

Real friends make you see
what a blessing you are
when you can't see it in yourself

Real friends don't let it go
when you put yourself down,
but hugs you ever so soft and sweet

Real friends find you
when you run out feeling unworthy
when you think you'd rather be left alone

Real friends say the right things at the right time
even if they don't realize
they eased the burden that's crushing your insides

Real friends don't assume the worse
when you walk right pass them,
but run you down to tell you their good news
