Real Blood

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: Real Blood
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: June/1987

Real blood?

that's
what they
say -

Real blood?

real blood
runs deep:

Deeper than
any
blood -

And
real blood
is
thick,

thicker than
water
blood (they say) -

that
runs through
the
veins
of
those
who are
not
real blood -

And
that's deep
to me -

Cause
I know about
real blood,
and
how real blood
can be -

For I
have seen
real blood
turn to
mud,

in the
blood
of
my blood -

That's
too deep
for me -

Real blood?
that's
what they
say -

I hear you Ken Jordan, "Real Blood"...from my perspective, it is for them, mere convenience, and for me, "Nothing "Real" about it! Great write "7"!!! Robert
