Ready
I was a little too young to have too much sense
And like a fool I let you go
'Time I came around you'd blown this town
With some guy you used to know
Now I hear you're loose and if I can
Only say this right somehow
I was a little slow to grow up I know
But I'm ready for you now
Since you've been gone i think a light came on
I got a grip on where it's at
And I've slicked down all the wild hairs
Underneath this cowboy hat
If a second chance on me is something
Your heart will allow
Well that's one bet you never regret
'Cause I'm ready for you now
I'm ready....... to hold you tight
And I'm ready....... to stay home at night
I promise........ to keep those solemn vows
I'm ready........ to take a stand
Yeah I'm ready......... to be your man
if you're willing honey...I'm ready for you now
