Reading A Book

When I decide to read a book
To find the contents put inside
I try to find the writer's hook
To see images that reside

To find the contents put inside
With clarity discerning thoughts
To see images that reside
That makes a story out of knots

With clarity discerning thoughts
I watch each page come into view
That makes a story out of knots
To talk of lives whether false or true

I watch each page come into view
As they create this story in my head
To talk of lives whether false or true
With words to us the writer fed

As they create this story in my head
I try to find the writer's hook
With words to us the writer fed
When I decide to read a book

Nicely done. Great tribute to our friends books. Pantoum poetry is NOT easy

The pantoum style is one of my favorite to write in I think the first verse is the hardest after that I write down the 2 repeating lines then write the other 2 the last verse never fails to suprise me in just how easily the lines fit together
