You give up your precious time to host these Mick, can't believe someone had a go at you over it. Your contest, your rules. If folk don't like it then don't enter. Tom

Harassing the sponsor of a poetry contest. Oh my word. I am sorry to hear that. I admire and applaud your committed effort.

The thing is Maureen when I allowed for the rules to be bent, I got ripped to shreds, it is as the old saying goes, 'You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time'. It can be applied both ways in a contest, anyway because the contests are of a fun nature I try to give those that have not read or even disregard the rules a chance to edit out their errors. Now if some sort of tangible prize was involved, a different story, oh yes! I too can see the funny side but where do you draw the line? Good luck with your Magicicada contest. Mick
