Read the Poems

When anybody posts reviews with cut and paste,
you must agree with me it is a terrible waste.
Why do people put comments on material they don’t read?
Is it the accumulated points they really need?
There are lots of things to read on a site such as this.
Well-written poems are what many members miss.
“Good poem” is not saying much in a comment.
Giving a thorough review is paying a compliment.
Take a good look at the work we display.
Interesting items are what the authors have to say.
Thoroughly read the poems that you see today.

I wholeheartedly agree with what you're saying, Robert. I will not leave a comment if I have not read a poem. You should post this in a blog! Love, Carolyn

It was a joy reading your poem today << insert poet's name here >>. I am glad I stopped by to read << insert poem title >>. Great job. Joe ... JUST KIDDING - my way of empathizing. I agree, but thought if I voiced this opinion, I might not get any future comments at all. For most of my poems, the posts are eerilly similar to what you mention and I jokingly wrote. Good job, Robert. Joe

I certainly get this one Robert.. A whole lot of truth in rhyme. It would be interesting to see the comments this one conjure up..
