Reaching Out
I’m colliding into the river of radiant remnants
I’m freefalling seven hundred feet away from you
I’m elevating higher and higher like the break of dawn
I’m like an infant, opening up his eyes to the shadowy world before him
Escape with me to paradise
Empathy is in your lovely eyes
Engulf yourself into the elegant island of haven
Eager to reach the highest point in this darksome den
I’m collapsing into a thousand waves of sunshine
I’m feeling like a billion boulders breaking bit by bit
I’m subsiding from the bitterness and shame inside my grief-stricken soul
I’m ascending like fireworks in the midnight sky and I’m glimmering aglow
Acknowledge the pain left unseen, leaving me feeling unstable
Addicted to the many worries that course inside me as I lay down, feeling so vulnerable
Appreciate me for who I’ve become, not who I was before
And never, ever make me feel insignificant to the core
I’m escaping fantasy by accepting reality and its final outcome
I’m waiting patiently for something bigger than us - His Kingdom
I’m engulfing myself into streams of wonderfulness...no room for loneliness
I’m appreciating all the happiness and feeling hope beyond the tribulations of this lifetime, reaching out to incredible horizons of empathetic eustress
