Reach Inside Me
you reach deep inside of me
bringing out a part that is so hidden
dark and lonely
it takes my breath away
your soft words comfort me
late at night as I listen to you
drawing out feelings
that have long lain dormant
in my soul
love and kindness are mine again
as I hear your sweet voice
soothing my aching heart
seeing me for what I am
once again I long for romance and desire
hoping to open myself up
to a new beginning a new passion
calmness surrounds me
like a warm embrace and brings me
great joy in knowing that happiness
can be mine once more
