Reach For Me

Lost in emotions,
this heart seems to be . .
endless moments,
a burst of illusions

It is hard to breathe,
eyes cannot clearly see
will you reach for me,
deeply and honestly reach for me?


I am aching to be,
everything you need
when you come to me,
after you reach,
truly reach for all that is me


The longing that hibernates inside,
this sweet tenderness . .
not even my heart can deny,
cannot secretly hide

When breathing becomes too hard for me,
and eyes wish to always see,
when needing someone like you
. . is all my being seems to do

Will you reach for me,
deeply and honestly reach for me?


I am aching to be,
everything you need
the moment you say, you need me too . .
when you truly reach for all that is me


Lost in emotions,
this heart seems to be
. . against the wind
words I send,
they are set free . .


Alone and waiting,
still anticipating
this reality,
or perhaps a dream,
because sometimes
. . eyes fail to clearly see


I am aching to be,
everything you need
. . when you come to me
after you reach,
truly reach for all that is me . .


Will you reach for me,
deeply and honestly reach for me?

Author's Note -
' The reason ' was born, yet these lyrics truly desired to be first.
After allowing them to linger for longer, I can understand why.
