Reach

When all seems reckless I reach for your hand
Where promise and comfort dwells,
The warmth and strength your grasp fans
anxiety and stress it dispels .

The surge of hope that clasping brings
No one can completely explain,
Or the sense of loss their parting rings
 For now I'm alone again.

To stand as one against some foe
I can be bigger than I am,
All it takes is that I know
I can reach for your hand.
