Friends since university years, our friendship had got stronger, although each one has hectic lives. Hope that this poem brighten your day and fill you with optimism.
Dedicated to my friend Liz:
Rays of sunshine shines over you
Giving a massive dosage of optimism
When the dark shadows menace
To turn you spirit upside down
It is not easy to live without
A loving husband and children
Specially in a society when
Silently you are seen as a misfit
When do not require the parameters
Stereotyped for decades for the ladies
Understand you perfectly, since I am
In the same situation as you are
Remember always, everything in life
Has a divine purpose, although not seen
Smile, shake off the dust, and celebrate life
Without any burdens that weigh you down
