Raw

Disturbing creeps
Find their way down the spine.
Sweaty palms,
Wrenching gut,
All keeping her too awake.

No one hears her faint calls.
Walls,
Echoes,
Distant memories of laughter.
No one hears her but him.

Slipping the mind into a secure place.
He takes her.
Piece by piece,
He takes her.
Left to lie on the chilled floor.

Empty with nothing to give.
There are no tears.
Lost,
Unwanted,
Secrets of holes inside her heart.
