Rational Love
These nights I spend scribbling words of emotions
as it is better than to waste with the impassive rotten world
In the name of mordenized independent thinking they who leave us stranded
to our own idle thoughts that drown us in sorrow and disbelief
The words of love seen to have met with rejections
The shores of the seas separating the lands were brought closer by technology
yet our hearts are parted afar across galaxies
We aspired ourselves to look through the wonders of the stars
but we left our companions and lovers stranded who do not match our stats
never to realise the disarrayed love they carried, we dismayed and dismissed them
Our vast vocabulary can decipher the etymology of love
while all the beauty that lay in irrational is forgotten
the unreasonable are met with distrust
because they began to weigh one's rationality
and measure
in pros and cons of being with someone
