Ranger of Distant Lands

He spoke to me in words that erased time, his lips braced my forehead with a gentle kiss, as his hand fell upon my face.

I was frozen in time as he spoke of words so gentle, so pure, so loving, that I never heard before.

The words were so precious to me, that in my mind gusts of winds swirled around us, as we stood upon a darkened, yet beautiful forest and life ceased for a moment.
