I have read all of Langston Hughes,
Writings of comedy and blues.
I will never get enough of,
Inspiration comes from above!

For millions, he is an idol.
Turn a frown into a smile.
My testament, he is beloved.
Inspiration comes from above!

This sonnet is dedicated to one of the more prolific and well known writers of his era. 
Langston Hughes, through reading his work I learned, yearned for my shot.. My favorite
poem from Langston Hughes is "Daybreak in Alabama"... If you have never read it, I suggest
you do.
***On a separate note:
I would like to thank everyone on PoetrySoup for taking time out of your day to sit and
