Rambled Wording

Lives are lost
Souls are caught
All because of
one man's plot.

The cries
And pleas
That pierce through
The night.

Life planned out before
My birth;
Nothing I could say.

The blood
Of innocent children
Falls.

His father was
Here before.
He told us
What he had in store.

There is no peace
In this land
Of hope and freedom.

There is peace though it is found within. Don't you think? Thanks for sharing! Steve
