Rambing On Wharf

Whirling saline mists taunt my nose on quest,
dark green head, yellow bill mallard toe dip,
pink pastel cloud oe’r urban quay strewn guest

Fellow ambler’s balmy glee in mild gust,
golden stream wild eddy from frothy lip,
rapt red sunshine loiter, splintered street dust

Great imagery, Howard! If this was for the contest, I think the sponsor wanted at least 5 verses?? But if not, this is fantastic as is!

Very descriptive of the wharf scene. I enjoyed reading this one. I like that line about sunshine revealing splintered dust. Sara K.
