Rajanigandha
Rajanigandha – came in pristine dreams
A gardener – so keen - evolved within
Wishes accompanied – eternal stream
‘Was waiting for her, with a Mandolin
She came like a breeze; in my distressed life
And her aroma made me feel delight
Her cute smile played magic – vanished all strife
She brought fountain of joy; my little sprite
She would unfold her petals in the night
Wait until dark when the full moon would come
She would enchant you by her beauty – white;
Spread love allover; make the bees - all hum
Rajanigandha – my dream would come true
Waiting and watching the firmament – blue

I dare to write my first sonnet to gift it to my dear daughter on her eighth birthday.
