Raise Your Glass

Raise your glass, toast the night,
To the drunks who stole my light.
Laughter echoes in a smoky room,
Shadows remember her perfume.

She chased the soulless heart,
Left me standing broken apart.
Her shine is now devoid of light.
She painted pain with colors bright

Here’s to a drunk who stole my girl,
Here’s to a dwarf that spun her world.
Here’s to her addicts lost in time,
And here’s to her for being so blind!

Loved dirt bags, a moth to a flame,
Chased scumbags without shame.
I screamed her name into the void,
Love like that can’t be destroyed.

Ashes of what we never were;
She danced on lines blurred.
Laughed and played her game;
Find strength through all this pain!

Here’s to a drunk who stole my girl,
Here’s to a dwarf that spun her world.
Here’s to her addicts lost in time,
And here’s to her for being so blind!

Loved dirt bags, a moth to flame;
Chased scumbags without shame.
Love like that can’t be destroyed.
I screamed her name into the void,

Ashes of what we never were;
Danced on lines that were blurred.
Laughed and played her game;
Find strength through all this pain!

"Raise your glass to her for being so blind!"
