i hear the pulse this somber day beat across the sky its downcast eyes dropping tears against my weary soul within its lies a sunrise unseen through sullen eyes

every rainy monday i hear the carpenters singing "rainy days and mondays always get me down" in my head....i am off today but wanted to do things outside, the rain sort of halted my plans, every time it stops it comes back again....:) Thank you for your visit and comment!

Nicely done. Though another sad poem it seems, rain is nice every once in a while. Your depiction of the day brings a mournful feeling, a gray and blue kind of feeling which just speaks of your talent to paint whatever you choose in words that bring the reader into the scene.
