Rainy Days At Home
rainy days at home
are a chance to relax
and unwind
in solitude
unhindered thought
births creative inspiration
there's nowhere I need to be
the garden can take care of itself today
I can choose to
read the book I've been meaning to get to
daydream
try a new recipe
practice my music
indulge in my art
write poetry
or just sit and watch the rain
with a cup of tea
enjoying nature
from a place of creative contentment
comes gratitude
for the gift of a rainy day
