Rainy Days

Days come like the weather— Good and bad, they always pass. And when the storm has lifted, The sun returns at last. So don’t let dark days weigh you down. Even they have purpose too. And when the skies grow calm again, You’ll see how much you took them for granted, more than you ever knew. Tears and raindrops both will dry, As rays of hope and warmth embrace. The thunder’s never as close as it sounds, So don’t let the lightning make you lose faith. It’s always easier to see the bad, But let the good flow through you. You worry about what others say, But who are they to judge you? Nobody else has lived your life. No one else has worn your shoes. No one else thinks your thoughts, And all your choices are yours to choose. Ignore the noise around you, And focus on yourself. Invest in what makes you smile— There you’ll find true wealth.
