Rainy Day Blues

Thunder greets me this Monday morning As a storm was aborning From this gloom I take my cues Leaving me with rainy day blues A feeling of deja vu I can't ignore I've seen this gloomy day before Melancholy thoughts are what I choose Leaving me with Monday morning blues My thoughts float in the clouds above Of one night stands misconstrued as love Precipitation from the sky now spews Leaving me with the rainy day blues »» 2/22/18

Congrats on your win Joseph. Your last verse sums up the regrets of a lot of people. But 'not to worry', as they say in Australia, live for the present with No Regrets - looking forward towards the future - A lovely write Joseph and I commend you...Maria
