Rainy Day
A silent dawn, the skies were gray
A sign that rain was on its way
The flowers drooped they seemed withdrawn
The skies were gray, a silent dawn
From the sky rain came pouring down
and nature drank from all around
Flowers let out a thankful sigh
Rain came pouring down from the sky
It played a song on window pane
Thunder joined in with its refrain
As it rained and rained all day long
On window pane it played a song
