Rainy Day

Take me away,
o rainy day
as your gentle waters
pass my way

Sweetly kissed
by foggy mist
my troubled thoughts
have fallen whist

What soothing sound
the droplets found
as on my roof
they dance around

The nearness of
the clouds above
has left the mountains
bathed in love

Purples, pinks
do cast their winks
and woodlands thrive
as Nature drinks

O rainy day
take me away
upon your wings
through skies of gray
