Rainy Autumn Eves
Autumn, of your rainy eve
Dreamiest imprints leave
Believe, one drop, once to step in
Thereby translated are
Shopfront, lamp, and for a chaise*
Pathed, alleyed, roaded ways
A-daze, what's soft as silk, unto
A more cultured era.
