Raining Words

As words begin to rain,
my sleep's in ruin.
my cries reach none,
In my darkest hour,
when I am the only one.
I reek of misery,
as I drown in my melancholic song.
Ineffable is my sadness,
yet I somehow manage a Chaplin's laugh.
