Line three is sad because it shows how Man disrespects Mother Nature - and all for the $$$.

Hi Rajit, as always I love to receive your astute comments. Unfortunately, in our greedy obsession to develop everything, we wantonly destroy this wonderful Earth. Warmest regards, Pandita

Indeed, those hungry bulldozers. I so hope the Governments of South America sign a pact that makes the Amazon rain forest a National Park. Isn't it wonderful how few words can mean and picture so much. Terrific Haiku that we need to read, absorb, adhere to, and deliver. 'NO BULLDOZERS, end off, powerful poetry Pandita, James :)

Great punch line, taking the reader unexpectedly. I love how you paint the beauty in the first two lines and then contrast it sharply with the "blues" element.
