Raindrops Falling

Rain, on a sweltering day, in form of gentle raindrops falling. . . precipitates itself, then intensifies to stay. Relentlessly it pounds the ground, falling furious and fast. Suddenly, I sense it slow to a pitter pat: an interminable summer storm's mere lapse. For Carol Brown's RAINDROPS FALLING Poetry Contest

Very nice Andrea. We have had a dry spell. I hate dragging the hose around. Wish we'd have some rain and then that it would leave for awhile. Congratulations. Love, Joyce

Congratulations on your win in my "Raindrops Falling" contest Andrea. I had a very hard time judging this contest as most of the poems were so well written. Thank you for supporting my contest. Love, Carol

I love this nature poem. I had the xray done on my shoulder and knee and now have to see an ortho doc. I knew my knee was not good but now I have calcium build up on my shoulder and not much can be done except cortizone shots. Growing old is the craps

Oh DAMN. Calcium buildup on the shoulder!! That sounds like ME. I had a bone spur preventing my arm from lifting because of it. I fear it is the same thing?? I hate that part of my body now and greatly fear it will come back to me. (it never feels good back there even now)

How I love the rain Andrea! Good luck on the contest. You always have a rich reservoir of words. How have you been? BTW, I made a very bold decision last week: I filed an early retirement. My emotion still runs high, trying to figure out what to do next. Love, Dalila

You can feel the earth pout with this historical drought. Every raindrop that falls is in vain. China is soaked, plant life is choked. Come on Mother Nature, use your brain.
