Raindrops and Petals

I ascended the mountain of dreams
To see the universe's seams
Where lightning crackles
An ancient god cackles
Wave after wave overlap
Enough to alter the map
And when flowers burst
To fulfill an old one's thirst
The flowers form a bowl
With celestial water filled whole
I want to dance among the stars
And make music with Mars
Behind every shed tear
Is a lost dream I fear
Raindrops and petals
Tear drops and metal
Where pain and pleasure meet
I refuse to face defeat
